Are you wondering about the trades? Ready to change that hobby into a career? Join us for a panel discussion with 4 woodworkers' journeys in the trades moderated by Gladys Walker, who is just entering the field! We have an awesome crew with varied experience:

Erin Melzer- Union Carpenter

Emily Chhen- Cabinet Maker and recent grad from St. Paul Tech

Jacqueline Zepeda - Owner of Pine & Poplar Carpentry & Founder of Cempazuchitl Collective - a QTIBIPOC organization that provides skill shares from power tools, to direct action, to medicine making.

Jo Manu- Founder of Manu Carpentry- working in carpentry for 20 years.

Gladys Walker - Gladys is a woodworking enthusiast with an interest in furniture making and upholstery. 

This discussion will be held on Zoom so that we can take your questions live and connect with these awesome craftspeople!

Pricing Transparency:

Each instructor is paid $75 ($375) We are hoping we can get 25 people to sign up and pay $15 to cover paying these talented people. We want to keep this accessible, so sliding scale is set to $0.  Please come if you want to hear this talk. No one will be turned away.
