Want to make custom hair accessories for your unique hair? This class will allow you to make the hair pin of your dreams while getting familiar with using the bandsaw, combo sander, vice, carving knife, and hand sanding techniques. Come with an idea of how many tines your dream hair pin holds and fun shapes. We will have a selection of woods to choose from.
Please wear closed toed shoes and avoid dangly clothing. During this 2 hour class, students will be standing for the majority of the time. If you have questions about accommodations during class please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org

This course has 2 free seats for the BIPOC (Black Indigenous People of Color) community to take this course at cost for the materials fee of $18. Fireweed believes in wealth redistribution while our nation has still not offered proper reparations to marginalized communities.

Materials cost for this class is $18 and includes wood blank, sandpapers, walnut oil, PPE, tools upkeep, and a $5 contribution toward the purchase of the combo sander used during class.
