Join Fireweed staff Aria, Leah, Nia in helping Fireweed build a log storage shelter. An organized way to store full logs for our green wood carving and turning classes is needed in the backyard. We will be using reclaimed materials (mostly dimensional lumber) to build a structure similar to the sketch pictured. We will work as a group to measure, cut, and build the structure. Some of the tools that will be used include circular saw, mitre saw, drills, drivers; guest appearances by chalk line, speed square, levels. Since this will be a group build, all mobilities and abilities are welcome. Be prepared for the outdoors. We will take a DIY approach to problem solving as needs arise.
