Join the board 

Getting involved on the board or a committee is a great way to help steer the future of Fireweed Community Woodshop. Our committee and board members work hard to support the organization’s financial and fundraising goals, our equity and diversity mission, and alignment with our values. Board service is open to the community and we welcome people of diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Board member recruitment happens in the fall with new members starting in January.

What's the process for becoming a board member?

1. Request a board recruitment packet 

2. After you've reviewed the packet, apply for membership by completing the interest form

*Attend an info session - info sessions are offered for prospective board members to meet current board members, ask questions, and explore board service. 

3. Interview - interviews are informal and are an opportunity for you to share your skills and interests, and a chance to ask questions for current board members.
